Hello, I'm having trouble with my motherboard recently and I'm wondering if the symptoms I'm getting is a motherboard based problem or perhaps my power supply is dying. I'm living in Korea right now and one of the biggest problems of living here is that I have to move pretty often depending on job situation.

I just moved to a new place and when I put together and plugged in my desktop, there was no response from my monitor, keyboard, or mouse. The computer would power up but there would be no beeps. I figured this was a motherboard problem and even checked the cpu-socket where all the pins are. It seemed like 2 of the pins were a little bit out of place so I straightened them with a toothpick and then hooked everything back up again.

Unfortunately, the computer still didn't work so now I think I have to buy a new motherboard. However, when I woke up today, I found that I can't even turn on my computer now. theres no internal lights or anything and I've tried replugging everything in multiple times. Can a bad motherboard cause a computer to not turn on even with everything plugged in or is that the sign of a bad power supply?
