358.50 was working fine for like 15-ish days and last night my primary screen (I have 2 monitors) went black, then lit up again but with the basic w7 theme, then black, then the "display driver has recovered" error popped up and then it BSOD'd with nv-something-something.dll being the culprit.

I was like whaaaa? So I downloaded 358.87 to see if it'll happen again. 356.04 was perfectly stable with me though.

Recommended by who? This should not be necessary unless you're having a serious problem of some sort. No need to do it every time a new driver is released.
