Also, I don't buy into eugenics. I am more for population control for resource management, environmental protection, elimination of pain and suffering, and the reduction of war. Also, I don't advocate for the killing of anyone. But some people are too small minded to know the difference. Further, I don't care if it's some dirt peasant on Africa or the morons in the US who are doing 19 kids and counting.
When you consider that the main implicit reason behind population control theories is 'there should be less of us so the remaining ones can cause more damage to the planet and not give a crap'... that alone should tell you how valid the theory is.
Now, there is no denying that the situation of certain countries like India is pretty much unsustainable. Not only from an environmental point of view, but from an economics perspective there is absolutely no way you can get a country 3 times the size of Spain to maintain 30 times its population.
And from the environmental perspective, there is no way a country like the US can sustain producing 2.5 times the CO2 emissions per capita than the EU, or in other words, nearly twice the CO2 output with a 40% less population.
That, in my books, is insane and should be harshly punished. Not even Japan comes close to those figures.
