In the press release accompanying its earnings report, Ubisoft gave a breakdown of its games sold by platform, and Sony's PS4 took the top spot with 27% of the share.
The next most popular platform for sales of Ubisoft games was PC at 20%, followed by Xbox One with 12%. The two big last-gen consoles, Xbox 360 and PS3, made up 10%, each, of sales of Ubisoft games.

It's really a shame that PC gamers have allowed Ubisoft to get away with their BS, and continued to feed them revenue they do not deserve. We are not teaching them their lesson and they will only continue to make garbage ports.

I would've thought that Ubisoft had a more console-centric audience, but apparently I am wrong. It is always great to see how far PC has come in the last couple of years. Sales are really great with Internet speeds becoming better and more online distrubutors selling software.

Looking at what the future brings I can see myself buying The Division. That game looks really good. It only comes down to whether or not the PC performance is good enough to warrant a purchase.
For Honor looks alright aswell.

I used to like their Assassin creed franchise, but I decided to stop at AC2: revelation. The rest behind is pile of garbage, I am waiting blackflag to go on sales, for that ship simulation, it is not even the assassin that make me want to buy blackflag.

Their other franchise is pretty bad too.

I usually buy Ubi games and enjoy them, though it is very true that at release they are usually plagued with issues.

Honestly the same criticisms that apply to Ubi games can be said about many other long running series.

I'm on a Ubisoft hiatus after Watch Dogs and the disappointing Assassin's Creed Unity, I just need a break, especially with Assassin's Creed. I have nothing against them, even if some of their PC games release in questionable states, I really like alot of the games they make.

But I will say this, I haven't ran I game at 20fps solid in a LONG time until the launch of Assassin's Creed Unity, the one before that was Assassin's Creed 3 on pretty decent hardware at the time. The performance in Unity got better but, damn I don't want to experience 20 fps gaming again.

I'm gonna think twice as hard about special edition Ubisoft games in the future, especially on PC, nothing like spending £50 on a game that was plagued with performance issues for months.

MS should just flag the Xbox and concentrate on making PC gaming better. At least that's my take away from this wink.gif

It would be actually their strongest move. To move Xbox and Windows gaming together and name all of their gaming to Xbox Connected or something. Focus on software, add Xbox live to PC, bring all Xbox exclusive games (those that are due in the future) to Win10 aswell, have Xbox One / PC crossplay for multiplats.
They could even release it as a service on PC and charge like 9,99$ a month for your PC to be able to do that. Like a steam platform made by Microsoft.
Basically they could have the Xbox One act as a PC, even give it native Mouse and Keyboard support.

Also having the PC (which is stronger than Xbox currently in terms of sales) could boost the interest of third party publishers/developers to release exclusive games on the new Xbox Service.
Xbox has troubles keeping the exclusive games anyways.

- Ryse Son of Rome is on PC now
- Dead Rising 3 is on PC now
- Rise of The Tomb Raider will be on PC early 2016
- Sea of Thieves will be on PC
- Gears of Wars Ultimate Edition will come out in PC this year
- The new Killer Instict will be out on PC in 2016
- Recore will be out on PC

I wouldn't be too surprised to see even more games coming to PC/Win10.

(I know that in reality it is much more difficult than I make it out to be, but that would be amazing)

Blackflag is a fantastic Pirate game. It is, however, an awful AC game. As long as you expect it to be a pirate game you won't be disappointed.
