Thanks for the advice everyone. I'm not that new to PC hardware, but as far as longevity on CPU's I really have no idea how long they last til they are a bottleneck. But after reading this I really don't want to if it's not going to be a pretty big improvement. Glad I asked first here! redface.gifthumb.gif

Best ddr4 I've seen is Splave's cast-offs for HOT. rolleyes.gif
3770K @ 4.7 is optimum for gaming.

if you plan to get another 980 Ti - yes, but, i'd recommend going X99. there was a reviewer online who saw it fit to pair that ivy to two 980 Tis, though. i thought that was weird.

For a single 980 Ti - not worth it.
