Buying new PC *today*, will this 620w psu hold my rig? - Page 2

Not sure what they mean by loud? Under load, I might hear the fans going....but its not like its really that noticeable. I have the computer pretty close by, slightly elevated off the floor near my feet. I have used Antecs and Corsairs in the past, and they are just as "loud" as the Seasonics.

There are a ton of M12II owners that complain about the very aggressive fan profile the M12II has.
Its not something new that the M12II is loud it has always been that way.

The fan starts to spin at very high RPM even at lower loads so it tend to make much more noise then what newer PSU does at the same load.
if you are used to the noise you dont even notice it most of the time, i know i dont notice my video cards anymore yet lots complain the fans are way too loud.

Okay, thanks.
I'm not sure it's worth it to get the SeaSonic X 650w then, I see that for around just $10 more (retail price) I can order the G-750 Semi-Modular version, would that be better? They don't have the G-650 Semi-Modular in Israel from what searches show up.

The Seasonic G is not a bad option and i have never heard anyone compain that the G was loud.
They had a problem with some of them being DOA but that can happen to anyone.

X should be pretty quiet as long as you don't get too close to max load.

I base this on the fan profile they show in their website. X-series
