Have played few the first few missions in SP now

4gb 960 with 8gb system ram, all settings to high and AA mode FXAA ... no stutters , average fps is definitely 60 , occasionally dips to 48-49 (that's the lowest fraps has reported) . No problems with adaptive vsync either as someone else reported so that must be a AMD thing

Sounds like the extreme settings are broken but for my setup I have no complaints at all. I thought the graphics were good on High..

Last comment is its funny looking at the Geforce Experience optimal settings for my system

Its telling me to disable AO, dynamic shadows, set mash quality to Low, order independance transparency to None , medium textures and volumetric lightning to None , however I have all of these on either High or "On" and am averaging 60 fps.. way off on that Nvidia biggrin.gif

What the? Look at the 290X vs 390X at 1080p! Something is wrong with that result. It is not the VRAM because at 1440p, the 290X and 390X perform within 5fps of each other. (And Fury only has 4GB and that seems to be doing fine).



I can understand the 780 Ti doing badly since Nvidia decided to drop it to make their newer line up look good, but the 290X and 390X are not that much different at all. Either it is bad testing or it's been done deliberately to boost hardware sales.

I am fairly certain it is. If this game was actually needing all 4 gb of vram on my 970's things would be choppy stutter city. I played for about 3 hours last night and didn't run into any troubles with performance, I just didn't have any resources left in reserve. I am going to try it with Nvidias recommended "optimal" settings tonight and see if it changes any of the resource allocation. Last night I was playing it with everything at 11.

I was playing on my buddies computer, split scren. Getting 100+ fps, everything at the highest settings (everything)

i5 6600k
16gb ram
R9 390 8GB
SSD
etc


I havent played on my PC yet, but we had to make the game run with only 2 threads to play correctly. I also didnt check the memory usage at the time.
