You talking about the initial game loading time (where he's sitting on the beach)? If so, I think there is a mod to speed that up, but I don't know if it is still available.

Yes it is a while on startup. After playing more tonight the loading does not seem as bad. Good game though. Surprised to see pretty much a re-skin of JC 2 with new features. Running a Titan X, i7-4790 on a Acer Predator X34 and frame rate seems good for the resolution. lowest 45 and highest 78. GeForce Experience settings.

I wish I could play this... key bindings still not fixed! mad.gif
post #185 of 202
Just curious what is wrong with the key bindings? I played through this game a couple months ago and didn't have any problem with the bindings.

I use a Razor keypad with custom layout. Works great until you quit the game, then next time you play, it reverts to the default settings the game came with.

I see now, that sucks to have to do that every restart. Is it the game or razor support?

It's the game. You would think that it would be a relatively easy fix.

I would look in Documents\My Games\JC3, and see if you can't find the key bindings .ini or .cfg file, and check to make sure it isn't set to read only.

I was considering purchasing this game with the Rise of the Tombraider combo pack Steam is selling right now, but JC3 has a pretty low user rating on Steam. It seems most of the complaints are about the games poor performance. Do yall know if Crossfire works for this game? I have 2 R9 290x's, so I think I should be okay if crossfire works, but want to make sure before I purchase.

There is no crossfire support. Running the game using two GPUs results in artifacts and messed up colours.
