this is my ATTO benchmark using the 512GB version on Windows 10 on the system in signature.

Note: using samsung drivers improve performance by a lot.
In any case, I noticed slower boot speed than my old Corsair Force GT 240GB, strange, very strange.

Have the 512gb one, installed on pcie 4x adapter with heatsink.
Removed the info sticker on drive, made of some kind of metal, so maybe not needed to remove.
The nand chips are taller than the controller chip, so used a 1mm thermal pad on controller.
Used a 2mm thermal under the drive as it was warping.
No aha moment of speed increase against sata 3 drive. The only thing so far is ccleaner app, much faster cleaning.
Well, maybe not worth the money at current price point, the computer are not any slower so that something.

If any heIp, I didn't use the m2 slot, but just pressed F8 during boot for boot menu and chosed the usb stick and windows 10 installed fine.
What happens if disconnect all other drives and F8 for bootmenu and chose usb stick. I used a usb 3 stick.

I think something might be wrong with my 950 pro. I'm getting terrible read/write iops compared to other people. Running a clean install of Win 10 64bit. My 840 pro maxes out on the read/write seq/iops with no issues. But not my 950 which is much lower then other people.
Not sure why though....Maybe a dud? Most likely returning it tomorrow and going to nab another to test. Running a X99A Godlike board and confirmed the m.2 is running at 4x. Not sure what else I need to do. Just in case installed the latest Intel RST driver only without the software. Didn't help at all either. =*(
