Yes this one: http://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/download/tools.html

but what i meant is that you will never see these speeds in real live but only in benchmarks as your CPU cannot cope with the huge amount of data these drives can transfer.

He won't be able to install that driver because it cannot detect 950 Pros in RAID.

I have a question for you guys, i have interest in picking up a 950 pro and want to use this aqua computer kryoM.2 PCIe 3.0 passive heat sink to cool it. I am currently using a Gigabyte Z170X Ultra Gaming mobo which has 3 x PCI Express x1 slots. Will i still get the max speeds for the drive if i use this adapter or should i just use the m.2 slot ?

I would like to use this heat sink set up if possible.

Could anyone test "Class 0" security? There are some articles that suggest that it is not secure at all. For example, that you could change/reset HDD password and access encrypted data if you know BIOS password. Could anyone (1) enable "Class 0" in Magician, (2) set a HDD pass in BIOS, (3) try to reset/change HDD pass in BIOS without entering the set HDD password and report back if it works.

this is how mine looks like next to the ram sticks

Hello,

Someone here know about the firmware upgrade to support hardware encryption?
Samsung advertise it will be supported, but I want to be sure it's true.

If someone use bitlocker full encryption on OS ssd, I would like to see a benchmark in speed drop.

I'm willing to buy this drive, but the encryption is very important to me becuase I must turn encryption on.

Thanks.

P.S @barka - You should probably use bitlocker or equivalent, 'class 0 security' it's some form of mechanism to save the password as plain text, so it's not sound to be secure.

@jekewufek - where did you find such an information? From what I have read and understand, it is quite the opposite. Class 0 offers AES 256 hardware encryption. Each time you want to unlock your SSD you have to type in your password, which in turn is sent to your SSD as an ATA command. So, your password is not stored anywhere.
However, it could be that when you set a HDD password in BIOS, it generates a new password for you and sets it instead. But if that is not the case, at least in theory it should be secure.

@jekewufek / @barka or anyone. How do you enable Class 0 in bios? Just setup a bios password using admin?

Someone tried to use RAM caching with the 950 PRO? Software like PrimoCache or it's useless for such SSD?
