Differece is not visibile if not on benchmarks.

I solved my boot speed problems, it was the CSM enabled.

I disabled CSM and the boot boost up from 60 seconds to 20, loading windows is yes, 4 seconds more or less.
The problem is that to boot with CSM disabled I need to detach my USB monitor otherwise the system hangs on boot.

In any case, wow, now the speed is awesome.

yes but the fact that CSM disabled make my system hangs when USB monitor is attached is annoying.
I heard about problems with USB and CSM, many people have this problem using X99

Sigh. I just got this drive and connected it to the m.2 port. I am getting very low sequential read of about 1300. When I check samsung magician it says link width x3 but instead of link speed 10 gpbs it says 5 gpbs. I searched all over in the bios but can't make heads or toes of it.

Samsung driver is the first thing to check.
It's better to disable windows power saving feature when benching.

I installed and re-installed the samsung NVME driver. The app says the driver is the correct version. I also disabled windows power saving and still get the same. I removed all other PCIE drives. The only thing I have left to try is to connect it to the PCIE/m.2 adapter but that really isn't an option for my config.
