Upgrading from a G400s, should I get a G402 or a G502? - Page 2

Tough decision honestly. Anyway you can goto a store that carries both? If weight is a concern to you I would stay away from the G502. The G502 obviously features better sensor technology.. but I haven't heard very much negative about the G402. The G402 is lighter, cheaper, has a good enough sensor, but the most important thing is comfort when it comes to deciding between these two.. so it's hard to say anything other than find a way to hold/grip the both of them, and then decide.

Personally I am waiting for the next iteration of the G400/G400s featuring a 3366. Which hopefully logitech is planning since SO MANY PEOPLE want it.

Considering the 500/518/400 has been (arguably) the most popular mouse for the last decade, it'd probably do well in said market. They seem to have moved on though.

Just got my G402 today to possibly replace my G400s. So far I like the mouse. I use claw grip and it feels very similar to the g400s in weight and size. It does have some ridges on the right side of the mouse where I rest my ring finger which feels kinda weird compared to the smooth finish on the g400s but I'm sure Ill get used to it quickly. I'm also getting a g502 next week and am gonna see if i like that more than the g402 but so far the g402 is a great mouse and you'll definitely like it if you liked the g400s.
