edit: oooooh. how are you guys updating??? Clean install DDU? or install over top?

I tried the Clean and DDU method. Both borked up my nvidia control panel and geforce experience kept displaying the older driver version and that I had to update. Sigh I'm getting tired of this and looks like pretty soon we'd have to use geforce exp to get game-ready drivers in the future. mad.gif

This is because NVIDIA dropped the D3D9 <-> OpenCL interop in the newer Windows 10 drivers.

I sent a message to Josh at Nvidia and he replied
"Hi Just to let you know the SLI profile in 358.91 for Fallout 4 is missing settings and as such not working. Any help would be great.
Thanks"
"We typically push out SLI profiles via GFE, wont know more until the game actually unlocks and I can test it myself."

Looks like at some point I'm going to have to give in and install experience. Lame.

Another thread to keep an eye on. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1137422

Thanks. I'm wondering if thats why it's working for you. I've always done a clean DDU install and maybe it's not triggering something that way or something...not sure. Doing it over the top would make sense because it's already working for you just new driver being added over top....maybe?

Any rate. Thanks for response...will try over the top when i get home see if that does it

That's bull about the mandatory drivers. We should make a petition, seriously. Why the hell not? Let's tell Nvidia their idea sucks, GeForce experience sucks, and we don't want it! gunner.gif

But you know what? Nobody is going to do that. I'm not going to. Too much effort. People will easily extract the drivers and post them up. I'll never have to install GeForce Experience in my life. I "tested" it once by mistake and I was amazed that people could even use it. It's pure bloatware. 100% useless functions aside from shadowplay (Right?)

At any rate, I'f recommend not updating to Game Ready WHQL's anymore. They are buggy because they work "up to the minute" before release and you know what they say? Haste makes waste. It's people making mistakes in a rush that's doing this. WHQL is not what's making it stable here, it's the developers themselves.
