Incredible coincidence that most Gameworks games show poor optimization a lot of times combined whit big performance discrepancies.

how much is a 980 ? IDK but I got mine about for the same price that 390X cost at lauch.

390/290X/Fury/Fury X tied at exactly the same fps @1080p, people still won't acknowledge it's not GW but dreadful overhead, probably one the worst I've seen on AMD.

yeah I guess it'll run 1440p well, which is not bad for a 2014 card, but it's how it is supposed to perform. 970 was more like a 1080p GPU, 980 has always been for 1440p. Don't let the fact that AMD runs like crap fool you, if 980 didn't run like this it'd be a disappointment. And it only comes close to 980Ti at 1080p, where it looks like a case of CPU bottleneck.

The mere fact that they show a stock 4770k beating an overclocked 3570k@4.5GHz by 20% ,in a game that uses 2 cores, indicates that they produced numbers from their behinds once again. At this point I am pretty convinced they just bench 1 low end and 1 high CPU and fill in the rest themselves. If there is a video of what they are benching I will try to repro myself, will probably get 30% higher fps with a 290X than what they got with a 8320 and a 980Ti.

true. some people are just plain argumentative and damn irritating. If somebody is saying AMD GE titles perform as bad as Nvidia Gameworks titles on the respective competition's cards then he/she is flat out lying and shilling for Nvidia. We have a recent example. Starwars Battlefront which runs amazingly well on both camps even in beta. Then you have Gameworks titles like FO4 or COD BO3 which for the nth time even on launch are unoptimized or poorly optimized, buggy and downright pathetic in their use of hardware for the graphics they provide.
