[PCGHW]Fallout 4 in art test with benchmarks for release - Page 10

given that Kepler is relatively keeping up with maxwell, the problem is likely not a tessellation issue by itself(at least not on the same scale as TW3). Because of the trend, I do think its the CPU driver overhead and how bethesda's implementation of how it gives CPU loads that is working against AMD

Always a great argument what to use.
cause PC is not a game. It's a tool used by the devil to dimisnish AMD. I bought it back when I had 290 and 1080p display, could I run it ?Yes, when I was alone on the track I was almost near 60 fps.
BTW I mentioned more.

Lets look at them across all games, not just one that suits your agenda.. These are with AMD's "terrible" driver overhead..

Now 1440p..

Now imagine taking away the driver overhead with DX12, and look me straight in the eye and tell me it won't benefit AMD more. rolleyes.gif And lets not even bring up Asynchronous Compute..
what are those ? let me guess ? bioshock, metro ll and BF4. Why don't you include moder warfare 4 while you're at it.
Now imagine taking away the driver overhead with DX12,
should I imagine it in a magical bubble or not? hahahaha

maaan, just give it up. I'm not saying you're wrong, but please don't make me imagine my games run well

It's definitely what you state too! Remember how Skyrim had to get an x87 patch just to run on some AMD processors? User created!

Witcher 3 didn't come out broken. It did hurt AMD with HW on (which is AMD's fault), but you could just turn it off or reduce tessellation in CCC. But it's not like GE titles are perfect either. They don't hurt competition because AMD is too lazy and poor to get its own effects into games. And some Gaming Evolved titles were broken as well. BF4, for example, was a mess at launch. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-06-19-ea-addresses-unacceptable-battlefield-4-launch

Sigh. Come on, you know what I meant to say. Performance issues on AMD have nothing to do with GW being proprietary. Why does no one blame AMD for poor tessellation performance? When I realized that my 290X had such a poor tess performance and AMD drivers such a high driver overhead, my first instinct was to blame AMD, not Nvidia. I guess I'm a weirdo.

Those are the most popular games rounded to an average, from one of the biggest sites out there.. I'm sorry, do you want me to remove everything except Pcars and Fallout 4 to make your case look better?

How is metro not a good example? Its an Nvidia title to begin with albeit the dev made a good job with it unlike some others.

Tessellated lighting? Really?

I read this as "AMD has terrible tessellation performance, so it shouldn't be there cause it's not fair omg"
