Clever mounting of the unit and hiding, coloring or sleeving of the pump cables will maybe make this a non-issue, but never the less, if you want this thing visible at all, it's now a concern, which it wasn't before.
They need simple optional high quality plastic cap/cover that fits on the end/bottom of the pump mountings. The same black. Same outer diameter as the holders. About 5mm or so deep to accommodate the wires. And a little cutout around the rim to let the wires out. It should clip or push onto the end in more or less any orientation so you can position the wiring cutout toward the back.
I reckon if the cap had two or three tabs that protruded at the same diameter as the 'teeth' of the rubber anti vibration ring, the tabs could push fit between said 'teeth' to hold the cap in place with friction. And done right, it wouldn't interfere with the anti vibration properties of the mounting.
Could be used for both single pump mountings or for this dual pump design.Edited by meson1 - 11/13/15 at 5:36am
