I currently own an MSI gaming m5 with a 6700k, which I have gotten to a 4.5ghz overclock 1.34v vcore in the bios, 1.304v when running Prime95 1344k for 7 hours. Due to time limitations that is the furthest I have gone overclocking and I am comfortable with that overclock for now as a newbie. I am interested in going further in the future. Now, my m5 has no LLC level setting in the bios and my question is this: How much does not being able to change LLC levels hinder my CPU's overclocking capability? The reason I ask is because I am still able to return the board to Amazon should I choose to and I have heard some people complain about MSI's vdroop. If I did return it, I would probably go with a ROG Hero VIII or Gigabyte gaming 7.
