High friction mousepad?

Thread Starter
I currently have a QCK Heavy with a Logitech G400s and there are parts in the mousepad that are a little worn out (the mouse sticks more and there is more friction) and there are parts where it's too damn smooth and feels like ice. I hate this. I like the parts that are worn out because I can control my movements better, but for example if I flick my mouse it ends up on the smooth part and it completely throws my aim off..

Is there any mousepad that feels entirely like a worn-out QCK Heavy? haha. To be clear, I don't like rough mousepads, just high friction, "sticky"..

these have a pretty sandpapery feel to them https://www.artisan-jp.com/
i own one and i too am looking for that friction feel.
To the point where I was thinking it would be interesting to have fine filaments or hair on the button of a mouse that gently brush against the pad and give you bit more trackion.
I would touch ever so slightly and perhaps need to be replaced after excessive use.

ive had it for like 3 years and its still in great shape i really recommend them. even if you dislike how it feels its worth experiencing . has a great build quality.

Cool , can you list a few?

Sosearched keyword hybrid and found xtrac pad and steelseries dex which has grooveish pattern to it.
Makes me want to buy another mousepad now.
