Hey guys. I will be needing 4 980tis for graphic renderings for work. (its not for game so please dont hate me for getting 4 of these)
I have two questions, I was recommended to get Asus 99 e WS motherboard since it has 4sli available. Can four 980ti (EVGA) fit into the motherboard? It looks really thick in person.
Also, can i fit a 980ti on very bottom slot of the mobo which is located right above the pin connectors like usb and leds. ( It says it has 7 pcie slots but each covers 2 so 7th which is 4th card should be fitting at the very bottom. Please let me know if i can use that slot for 4th card. I never used multiple cards so I'm pretty noob to this subject.
Please enlighten me asap.
Thanks in avance.

If someone that can correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't compute on the Maxwell cards gimped, and hence, getting a used Titan / Titan black be the most logical solution (performance for the $$) in the computer space for rendering. Also, yes you can fit your 4th card on the last slot on the motherboard and yes you can physically fit 4 reference 980ti card on that motherboard.
