Best quiet fans for 280mm Rad?

So I have a H110 on my 980 and I want to upgrade the fans because they suck ass stock. I leave them at 50% so I don't burst my ear drums but I want something I can run at a constant speed but still get great noise results while keeping temps down.

I've been looking at Akasa Vipers since they fit my color scheme that i'm starting to do now really well.

Are they any good or is there a better alternative?

No noctua plz

The Phanteks PH-F140MP may suit you well. You probably won't be such a great fan of the EK Vardars.

What do you have against Noctua?

Damn, I hate 140XPs but I sold them and instantly regretted it.

Noctua is overpriced and look terrible

Why would I not be a fan of Vardars?

Probably because they are loud? They run at high rpm so they have a good performance/noise ratio but they are not "silent" fans.

In terms of overall noise emitted for air pushed, the Vardars are some of the quietest fans around. However the tone they emit might be more objectionable to some people than other fans.

The Phanteks PH-F140MP actually has a different blade design and spin faster than the PH-F140XP. That said, if you're actually cooling just a GTX 980 with the H110, I'm sure either will suit you fine.

So 140MP would be a good idea?

vardars are not loud. they are pwm so if they are running at high rpm for you, youre doing something wrong. they have a good performance to noise ratio because they are designed to be used on radiators. ek doesnt put their name on crap anymore.

https://www.reddit.com/r/watercooling/comments/3sj8g2/which_140mm_fan_for_my_h110_can_i_do_this/

I'm trying to decide between these two fans atm because I want to run these rad fans off the VGA fan header.

Unless there is any objectively better 140mm fans.
