Hyper 212 fan might be going out. I need a replacement

I noticed a noise when playing The Witcher 3 and when I isolated the noise to see which fan it was, it turned out to be my Hyper 212 fan. I can't find a replacement fan so am I just going to have to buy a whole new unit? I don't have an extra set of the little clip on bracket things that attach the fan to the heatsink. I was thinking of getting an inexpensive CLC water cooler so I can overclock my 8350 to 4.5 anyways but I'd rather not spend a bunch of money right now. If I can find a replacement fan then I would rather get that.

It sounds like a ball bearing might be bad or maybe it's hitting up against a wire. It has that rattling noise.

Also my 200 mm (or 20 cm as sane people would call it) fan is out and I don't know how much to spend on one. The prices are all over the place. What's a good amount to spend on that so I'm not getting screwed? I think in the ballpark of under $30 should seem reasonable for that.

Just buy a replacement 120mm fan. You can re-use the clips from the old fan.

Ah. I forgot you can remove the clips. I haven't messed with my heatsink in about a year so I forget. But I think my CPU fan is a 4 header and the case fans I have are 3 header I believe.

3 pin fan connectors will work with 4 pin fan headers.

Also, If you want a permanent replacement get a Noctua NF-F12 as long as you can stand the colour scheme.

TBH you will have to spend a lot of cash to get a better HSF than a 212, (same goes for CLC) and the improvements won't be anything to write home about. the 212 is probably the best bang for buck HS available.

I have a couple fans (120 and 200) you can have for shipping + $1 if you'd like.
