Hi there.

I an in need of serious help.

I am wanting to purchase a new monitor for my PC / XB1 set up.

I would like a IPS monitor or a 4k monitor. My budget is around $300 or more for ips or 4k.

I woukd like to play games and watch movies. I can buy from anywhere and im from usa.

QNIX QX2710 LED Evolution II DP Multi TRUE10 27" Matte 27 inch 2560x1440 AH-VA Panel DVI HDMI
Is that ^^ a good ips panel for $275 from newegg and if i were to purchase it should i get warranty or perhaps theres a better panel for that price.

They are good monitors. I own the glossy but without HDMI DVI only. Really nice picture and I have zero backlight bleed. Have it clocked to 96hz with no skipping runs like a champ.

Others might have a bit more insight regarding other monitors in this price range though but the Qnix is no slouch.

Thanks for the reply. Yea i have no issue purchasing this one but i am just a little worried that i could possibly get a even better bang for my buck when purchasing a monitor. Which is better gloss or matte.

One more question so yours do not have hdmi?

There are two versions of this monitor, one of which sucks, and there's no way to differentiate. If you want a cheap multi-input 1440p monitor buy an Asus PB278Q or BenQ GW2765HT since both can be purchased from retailers with hassle free return and exchange policies like Amazon and Best Buy.

There are at least six versions (3 glossy and 3 matte) of the Qnix QX2710/X-Star DP2710 (they are the same and are made by the same company but sold as different brands to create the illusion of competition) PLS panels with varying (mediocre to awesome; mediocre is more common) with only Dual-Link DVI sold as the same monitor, and there's no way to differentiate aside from choosing between the glossy and matte versions. These PLS panels do not work with consoles and are not worth buying since the IPS Crossover 2795 QHD (Official OCN Thread with more information) is similarly priced and is superior.

Unless you buy a used monitor, it's not possible to buy a decent glossy multi-input 1440p monitor anymore aside from the Zevroid 27QU, but it costs 440$ US and must be purchased from eBay. None of the name brand companies sell glossy multi-input monitors in North America.

Thanks for the reply. So what your saying is I can't use these monitors with xbox one? I'll still like to purchase one for my PC. Thanks I'm going to turn away from the one I posted and look at one of the two you suggested above thanks once again

These monitors I would strictly use with your PC. Glossy and Matte are personal preference. I can't speak for other people but the picture on my monitor is outstanding. These monitors will come out of Seoul Korea. I can't speak to the other poster but I've also seen a lot of happy people around the internet regarding these monitors.

Just know that the stand is a bit flimsy as well. I got mine from a seller on ebay (green-sum) have good positive feedback and shipping is quick. They do accept returns but you have to pay shipping back to Korea so that would be the downside if you did get a subpar monitor.

Of course you could go through newegg as well.

I think it comes down to if you want to take a chance at potentially getting a good deal. It's Vegas baby!

@MenacingTuba

I see you have a x-star in your sig how has it treated you?

I might pick up the BenQ GW Series GW2765HT 27-Inch Screen LED-Lit Monitor.

Thank you all for your time in replying to the thread. I just need a good monitor where I will not regret. Do you think the price will go down on black friday?
