Fnatic Gear FlickG1 - Page 19

got mine today ... cursor feels bad (angle snapping?) at 400-1200 dpi above it works well.

LOD is really high, higher than on the g402.

software is working as long as i dont press "apply" ... 500 and 1000 hz are working

fnaticoosci.jpg

added some tape and hyperglides to lower the LOD.

without the extra set of mousefeet the part around the sensor is scratching on my mousepad.

Jesus Christ! The 400 and 800 step on yours looks awful. And, yes, mine seems to be scratching the mousepad slightly as well but the LOD on mine isn't bad at all. Very similar LOD to my DA 2013 (without calibration).

Edit: I think that's the first time I've ever seen diagonal angle snapping :O

i don't know how to call it biggrin.gif ... its forceing the cursor to go in a diagonal line instat of a circle. Paint test obvsly without tape and extra pair of mousefeet.

hope you understand what i mean.

coating and build quality seem ok on my unit.

my unit isnt working on the fatal1ty (asrock mainboard) mouseport also the software is very buggy (firmware error) when i plug it into a usb 3.0 port.

Sounds like Fnatic has some work to do for these mice. That's two that have turned up dodgy :/

maybe they can fix it with a firmware upgrade ... a lod setting in the software would be nice.

with my adjustments it is actually usable, lod is like yours now biggrin.gif

could you test yours on a usb 2 port? also had to reinstall the software 2 times inorder to make it work and avoid the apply button.

Oh, and I had this still typed up here apparently:

I like this development. The one positive thing to come from the Zowie/FM "phenomenon" is that more people in the industry are realizing how easy it is to throw money at some Chinese factory and have more money thrown back at you by securing marketing opportunity in the "competitive gaming" field. Who doesn't have a mouse out right now? What this will hopefully lead to is that the really dedicated and experienced manufacturers look to distinguish themselves from simple copycats.

I tried mine on both USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports. Neither made a difference. It still won't track properly. Also, the software completely refuses to work with the mouse I recieved frown.gif
