Everyone is using a standard lens though and they have lift off distance adjustment.

This mouse finally arrived at my doorstep.

CM Alcor has that same LOD problem and that didn't newer got fixed. Then i used also this tape trick.

My flick has a jitter issue along with the LOD, it is quite annoying to be honest. When i just hold the mouse in the air & shake a smidge the cursor moves due to the darn sensor rattle. When lifting off it is pissing me off. I tape tricked to lower the LOD Until the new firmware if it ever happens. But this rattle causing cursor movement & jitter while 1 foot above the mouse pad is bs.

Yep, shame really. Everyone who actually knows anything about mice has noticed the jitter-LOD issues. Even if Fnatic fixed these issues the stiff cable tugs on the mouse if you leave it at an angle. Replaced mine with a thin Diamondback cable and literally chewed with my teeth to get the plastic cable-fastener thing off.

How do people feel about the slanted sides? Does it feel like the right side of da? I hated it. If you grip from the middle, is it straight vertically? Does it flare out vertically, or is it the same everywhere.

How about the coating

The entire side slants outwards like /\. The right side of the deathadder, in my experience, tends to straighten out towards the bottom but the flick is always at a slant. The flick feels strangely more comfortable to grip than the deathadder. Probably because the coating offers more grip than the tiny strips of rubber on the deathadder. The coating is nice enough. Somewhere in the middle of showing/not showing fingerprints.

I would highly recommend you avoid the flick anyway due to the sensor issues

Okay.

Dang, doesn't sound good though. One of the few things that I hated about the Zowie AM was the slanted sides. Many other things were good.

Kinda obvious both old Zowie and Fnatic were taking the IO 1.1 approach. First mouse I ever used was an IO 1.1 but at the time never realised what it actually was (I was 9). Always thought it was some cheapo mouse that came with the computer. Maybe that's why I'm capable of using / \ mice. Played the 2001/2 Serious Sam games all the time with it tongue.gif

Yeah I mean when the mouse is big enough you can sort of get around it, but with small mice it feels quite bad. Like DA right side, Roccat Savu left side, AM both sides.. etc. Just feels like you have nothing to grip.

Anyways, does it feel prominent on the flick ?
