Fnatic Gear FlickG1 - Page 39

Sucks really. I'd genuinely use the mouse if it wasn't so buggy in the sensor department. Of course, after I swapped out the stiff cable...

Oh gosh, I forgot about "that cable". Probably the stiffest cable I've ever used on a mouse. It's as if they saturated the cable in glue before they shipped it out redface.gif

The best part? All the 3310 mice developed by the factory where the G1 came from have the high lod thing going on.

Considering that Zowie implements most of their mice with the 3310 sensor as well with no drivers/software and have low LOD straight outta the box, makes you wonder about the manufacturer for the G1. At least Darko was nice enough to offer me a brand new one without having me to ship the defective unit back to the U.K. My 2nd copy has no sensor rattle now but same LOD issues. Oh well. Guess the transparent tape fix will have to do for now. mad.gif

Where do you get this info? I'm not questioning you, I'm genuinely interested. I see stuff like LaView/Dexin going around for CMStorm mice. Are these factories or something?

LaView and Dexin are indeed factories, it also seems that they are used most often when it comes to mouse production.

Any other factories I should know of? Which ones are better?

You'd have to ask uaok, he knows more than I do about that stuff.

Not sure why no one mentioned it's on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CH83RT8

Dunno if it's even worth a "test" with the stuff I've been seeing in this thread though thinking.gif
