Dunno if it's even worth a "test" with the stuff I've been seeing in this thread though thinking.gif

If you can deal with the LOD it will be fine, I still love the mouse despite that.

Didn't know the LOD was an issue before I snatched it up, I was still highly pleased with the mouse. From the clicks to the side buttons to the scrolling, all were very very solid.

For a mouse that was roughly $55, I was quite surprised. The mouse itself is about the same cost as a Broken at Launch AAA Platinum Game tongue.gif The LOD issues can be fixed with the transparent tape trick (which is unfortunate) but the sensor jitter and sensor rattle was real with my 1st copy. It's a really nice feeling mouse. I actually find the / \ shape to be more comforting than my Mionix Castor's 'ergonomic' shape. The G1 is great for casual games, but if I'm playing BF4 or CS:GO, I'll revert to my Castor or ZA12.

Seriously they need to fix the jitter & sensor issues. I ran bf4 & cod with it & was still having extremely solid games. Then the jitter worsened & the sensor rattle had me annoyed. They have a US store & it's on Amazon now, i hope the LOD fix is soon.

I'd pick it up & stick with it if i didn't think Razer would be dropping a new DA soon, they have to have it coming soon and i really am looking forward to it. As well as the Zowie refresh whenever that happens hell.

Is the shape / \ only in the middle or also on the front? How does it feel for example from the front at distance of the scrollwheel?

I mean vertically, is it / \, | | or \ / from the scrollwheel area? Which one would describe it the best?

You don't tape trick with transparent tape.
Tape trick works by blocking off the light in front of the eye when the mouse is lifted.
You do that with solid color tape (black works wink.gif) closing the bottom section of the hole of making it smaller, exposing basically the eye only.
Putting semi-transparent tap in front of the eye is just stupid if you think for a moment how the sensor operates.

Transparent tape on sensor hole causes sensor jittering.
