I replaced the #fff with #4d5c71 and it looks really good on the main menu bar, it's too similar for the other buttons though.

OK, now we're getting somewhere. I'm not ready to change the hover color of the Forums button, but now I can see what I need to do in order to change the hover color of those remaining buttons. WE DID IT!

Sure, I'm using #46566B for the hover color right now, but at least now I know where to go to change this color.

This code is giving me precisely what I had before with the tiny change of the hover color of those remaining buttons I mentioned (Post a Reply, Submit, Send, Start a New Thread - as seen when looking at a forum and not at a thread).

We totally did it. Thank you, agawthrop!

I also learned that if I want to post code that's color-coded, then I need to use the BB Code Editor instead. Observe:
Code:
@-moz-document domain("overclock.net") {
.ui-header-fixed {
    background: rgba(70, 86, 107, .74)!important;

I learned quite a lot tonight. Wow. I may not like the BB Code Editor because it slows me down a little, especially when I'm trying to edit the daylights out of quotes, but still.

Anyway, so yeah, I'm looking forward to playing around with this some more. For now, I have consistency: none of my buttons were changing on mouseover before except for those that I mentioned. So temporarily leaving them at #46566B will be very nice for the time being. I don't have any clue what color I'd want anyway, not for the buttons and not for the Forums button. I'm not good with colors. lol I just kinda go with what's been selected by the creator.

Now I see why programmers love programming. I want more! However, my time has run out. I have a lot of stuff to do, but damn this was fun. Again, I love how you cleaned up my code and made it much easier to look at.

Oh man, I do have one more question: can the element selection indicator be changed from black to white? I'm talking about tabbing out of the post editor and onto the Preview or Submit button. Currently, it's a black dotted rectangle. It needs to be white.

Mine is a light blue rectangle? I'm using Chrome though, so that could be a browser specific thing? I'm not 100% sure off the top of my head. If I have some downtime tomorrow, I'll take a look at it.

Ok, thank you very much. I rarely ever need it, but I'm worried about those who rely on it.

I hope Chipp is impressed. smile.gif

You're using firefox right?

Use this for changing the focus border:
Code:
element:focus::-moz-focus-inner {
  border:bordestyle;
}

If you want to change it for all elements then use:
Code:
*:focus::-moz-focus-inner {
  border:borderstyle;
}

Hmm. I'm using Firefox, but neither of those changed it to be white. It's white on the navbar and on the navbar menus, but it's black on Preview and Submit.
