@shilka sorry to bump this but i was just looking in BIOS at the voltages... on the 12V in BIOS it says 12.213V, to me that seems there could be a problem or is that fine for a Seasonic Platinum 1200W XP3?

BIOS reading are not always very reliable so you should use a digtal multi meter instead.

Its well within ATX spec, and you only need to worry should it go higher than 12.6v or lower than 11.4v.
Also, do what shilka said and use a multi-meter. Board sensors can be wonky as hell sometimes.

Usually in the molex connectors. Black to ground and red to the 12v line.
If the molex connectors arent available, a riskier method would be to shove the tips into the back of the 24 pin in the proper locations. So long as the red lead is touching a live 12v line from the PSU and the black lead goes to a ground, it will measure the voltage.

@shilka just wanted to let you know i had to go with dual PSU when Ln2 my 980ti Lightning and 5960X as the 1200W didnt cut it but no problems with dual PSU... Now a biger PSU would probably work fine although my friends AX1500i couldn't do the job either.

we tried spreading out the cables but no luck as you said the Seasonic is not a true single rail and as you know nor is the AX1500i.

This is just for your information and not attacking you in anyway as i respect you smile.gif

SS 1200W platinum + SS 1250W X-series worked well even tho that is overkill as was pulling about 1700 and a bit watts during benching.
