x2. Way to much drama-posting, ego-chest bumping happening in here for my taste. I want good conversation and information about the PG348Q - Not 105 pages of garbage. This thread needs to be neutered, heavily.

Then join the ASUS PG348Q Owners club thread, so people with the ASUS PG348Q can go on one thread and show why the ASUS PG348Q is great and what issues they had with it

I hope this thread continues to provide useful information on the monitor. There are some insightful and much appreciated posts that got buried beneath the spam unfortunately.
Please keep the good stuff coming. I regularly keep checking the thread throughout the day in hope for a review or first impression here and there.

Thanks to all who posted useful stuff. Keep it coming.

I would go to the Owners club for information now, so we can get the owners on one thread

Yeah, not too much left to say about it right now that isn't just pure speculation. Just need to allow time for others to get their hands on it and see what the general consensus is on performance. 5-10 users is not enough to dictate guaranteed risks with the monitor. I think it is supposed to be released in US within the next month, I saw an article on Fudzilla saying to expect it this month but I will take that with a grain of salt honestly. Waiting several months for pascal so I can wait a month for some solid information on the Asus.

Nothing to do with burning.

No official thread yet ? This ASUS/Acer troll war is really annoying...

Silv3rman told me in pm that he did that because of image burning.
Anyway, my initial post was aimed to be sarcastic towards Metro whom constantly repeat Acer QC is crap, to be polite rolleyes.gif
Also, remember that displayport is a hotplug connector so it shouldn't have happened in the first place, except the bad luck of getting a deffective display, just as it may happen with any other monitor.

Played Witcher 3 last night and I think I'm not going to keep the monitor, scanlies are way too much prominent as soon as FPS go below 60. I'm not sure I'll try another one since I have bad luck with these 21/9 Gsync displays.
