And what do you think happens when you have G-SYNC enabled, and are running a game at say 85 fps?

That's fundamentally not how gsync works. By definition, it will always be some refresh rate at or below 100 for every frame.

Awesome to see my little thread develop like this, I didn't expect that!

I am very eager to see if someone can get a tear down and confirm the panel being used inside of it. I know that LG recently announced the newer Panels and I am wondering if they might have put one of them in there all hush hush. Only time will tell though. Will have definitive information soon for sure though.

Good read and A LOT of good info - Food for thought from CallsignVega's Thread:
X34 to Oled post 1 and 2nd post
PG248Q vs Acer X34
PG278Q vs Dell S2716DG
Asus PG279Q vs Acer XB271HU
Acer X34 vs Acer Z35

None of the new panels match the curvature (or specifications) of this. As I've said before and on my news piece, the panel will be the usual suspect.

Wide as Fcuk channel made a short video comparing the X34 and the PG348Q before it's release. I innocently asked him for this days ago and he did it wheee.gif

This guy is talking about something he doesn't have yet, time wasting.

Well we are all talking about the same thing that we don't have yet, but that doesn't make this thread a waste of time.

This tread it half made of fortune teller forecast and statements, and half made of geeks hope and desires.
So it is indeed a waste of time biggrin.gif About both of us are also guilty wink.gif
But, pretending to make a comparison between a monitor he has and a monitor that isn't released yet is just a nonsense. teaching.gif

Hmm interesting, this PG348Q for over $1k, or the monoprice that's going to be out around the same time for $499.99 at 75hz. If the latter has freesync then the choice is made easy.
