Depends on your country.

Hi,

Just FYI...

Asus have just put up the official PG348Q product page on their ROG site!

http://www.asus.com/ROG-Republic-Of-Gamers/PG348Q

Lots of info there :-)))

Cant see anything new in the specs, other than a surprising change to the previously quoted HDMI refresh rate smile.gif

Same product page has just gone up on the Asus main website..

Very tempting to pre-order...

Looks like Scans 12th of February ETA in the UK could be right...

Some weird things in the specs.

It says it's 10-bit, but the panel the x34 used was 8-bit + Hi-FRC.

They're recommendation of a 980ti to reach 100hz was odd as well.

Unless you want to turn down graphics settings, you would need at least a SLI setup to handle 100fps on 3440x1440. For me this recommendation is pretty appropriate.

Do you guys think that a Pascal 2-Way SLI could handle this? I'm just not sure

Right, but they are recommending a single 980ti to simply overclock it to 100hz, which is what I find weird. We aren't talking about driving 100fps in games, we're talking about reaching a monitor overclock of 100hz - at least their note is. I know some other, lesser, cards will work but I found it odd that was their recommendation. It's also just another difference from the x34 specifications.

On the high-end, yes of course.

Remember it's photoshopped, there's a 1cm border on the panel so that you'll have a 2cm vertical black bar just in front of you.
