Eh, the risk of having to foot the return shipment bill if you get a bad unit isn't worth it I'd think. Just wait till it shows up at US retailers. The press release said this month.

Returns.

You certainly don't want a dud if it's going to cost you big to return the item. I don't see many companies offering free international return shipping for an item so large, so you would either have to live with massive defects, or pay big to have it returned.

I bet Newegg has a page up by next Friday.

I'm so stoked there's like no back light bleed in those videos when the screen goes black. You can see some glow but man this is looking really solid. Cant wait!

Need to find out how many can get to 100hz and if the scan line issue has been fixed

Oh yeah for sure. I'm hoping this one is a home run. The x34 seems to be doing much better people say, but man I hope Asus did their homework this time around.

After many QC disasters from Asus monitors, they had to make this one right. Can't wait to see more reviews smile.gif

The reason so many monitors have problems is AU Optronics (ACER) they are giving the panels to ASUS, if AU Optronics actually made decent panels, the monitors would not have any probems

I hope AU Optronics don't screw up that 3440x1440 144hz panel. That one is the sweet spot for 21:9 gaming in my opinion.
