Asus ROG Swift PG348Q Worth waiting for? - Page 57

All I am interested to know about this monitor is :

Is the backlight bleed / glow any better than the X34.

Does it have any coil whine like most X34.

How good is the default color and gamma etc.

Other than that it is basically the same as the X34 with a different stand, probably easier to use OSD and more expensive.

The videos up on Youtube look really good for bleed/glow. A chinese dude, said the color was great after calibration - probably really similar to the x34 if not identical.

Small, and most people don't care, but I'm glad the PG348q has cut out handles on the box. The UPS guy almost instantly ruined my x34 box because of the odd handles.

I plan on getting the monitor (probably from newegg or amazon) but would like to know if it will ship in its retail packaging only or inside the regular cardboard boxes (double packaging). Does anyone know if newegg or amazon shipped the x34 inside those regular shipping cardboard boxes?

I am currently asking a reviewer who has a sample of the ASUS PG348Q, if the scan lines have been fixed
