W3 is a problem with Hairworks, though, not a problem with the hardware. Turn off Hairworks, or turn it down to low, and you'd have no trouble.

Not sure about multiple monitors, though. My two massively outdated 770's handle 3440x1440 @ 60fps in pretty much everything just fine.

Just didn't understand why Titan Pascal would be launching in April, but the fully loaded Pascal would not be until next year, didn't make sense..

I guess we will have to wait until April to be 100% sure.

Shame... :-((

Sorry, I thought you was asking why the Titan has a full core count

I highly doubt it will launch in April, I have a massive in depth analysis about it, if you want me to do it

Anyways, hope your PG348Q turns out ok, not dead / Stuck pixels etc.

I've switched back to the Scan product page at least 5 times during this chat with mouse pointer hovering over the checkout button :-)

Got an update on it

"We did receive some of the 25 that we had ordered in but we only received 9 or so - they have been allocated to the first pre-orders"

I got the first Pre order at Scan and my monitor is being tested

Just for purpose of estimated wait time - when did you place your pre-order exactly? Seems like I wasn't so lucky...

Well looks like I might not get it tomorrow, as they are still testing it (I think they are playing Battlefront on it, "testing" it) so I should get it Wednesday

Waiting for someone to Email me back, so I get an update on the situation with testing

Great :-)

And sound like there are more on the way soon...

So the if you were me question...

Knowing that there is a good chance that my system cannot use 4-way SLI in surround, maybe only 2 or 3 way because of my mobo ( not tested on my system, just going by posts on the Z9PE-D8 WS thread), would you go for one PG348Q and a U3415W, and a second Dell later? Gaming with just one monitor?

Aphetically I'd like everything matching, and the flicker free, blue light technology is also a plus for me, as I do have autoimmune prob's and have to watch the fatigue thing... which makes me think I should get two PG348Q's ....

Decisions, decisions....

Speaking of Witcher III, steam has 50% off, so went for it smile.gif

Also preordered Doom yesterday, Collectors edition :-))

If you get one ASUS PG348Q and two Dell U3415W, that would be quite good, then you can game on the ASUS PG348Q and do work on the Dell U3415W, however if you really want blue light, you will have to get three ASUS PG348Q (would be very expensive) so I think one ASUS PG348Q and two Dell U3415W would be better

I would game on just one monitor, so you get better FPS and it means you can get higher than 60 FPS in games.

Not for nothing, If flicker-free is a priority for you, you should also check out the Samsung. It uses DC backlighting, so there's absolutely zero flicker, and very accurate low-blue settings if you want them. I probably wouldn't recommend them for secondary "side" monitors (in a 3-monitor setup), though, as the angle-viewed color shift would be too severe
