Asus ROG Swift PG348Q Worth waiting for? - Page 78

I posted a question on B&H Photo/Video's facebook page yesterday asking about pre-orders anytime soon and they replied back just now with"I don't know right now but I'll check with our buyer."

Hopefully they reply again with some good news for us North American people.

No one saw them right away.....Coil Whine and BLB would be more apparent at this stage and I still believe like 'TFTCentral' stated that too many people can't tell the difference between IPS glow and BLB

I posted a huge wall of text about scanlines right at launch, and others immediately started coming out of the woodwork with the same issue. Either unit's will have them or not.

What's weird is that I launched Gsync Pendulum without overclock, so native 60hz and I saw scanlines. This is different from Acer X34.
Also, disabling Gsync doesn't make scanlines completely disappear, they are faint but visible.

The monitor is 100hz stable but scanlines are still here even when fps are between 95 / 100 where they tend to disappear on the X34.

Tested with different displayport outputs from the first 980ti.
I'll test with the second one and see if it's better.

That is very disappointing man. Looks like the same case with the x34 where some people don't notice it, or possibly don't have it. I'd bet they all have to it varying degrees just like the x34.

Well it could be his sample as a few people have said now that they do not have scan lines

The only thing that would tell me it was fixed is if it was on no sample. I doubt most are scanline free already.

I asked the same question elsewhere and thankfully informed you can. It also has a couple of different intensities.
