The amount of salt coming from the Acer crowd on this forum is too damn much. The x34 was a terrible product, A $1200 lottery ticket that a good portion of the people that bought it ended up returning it. Some of them returned it multiple times.

Even if every single Asus panel had scan lines, it would still be better than the Acer. Because the Asus is still 100hz out of the box 100% of the time. Still we have seen that most of the panels don't have scan lines or they are not noticeable to the people that received them.

Plus the only negatives that i have read are completely ridiculous because there are more viable solutions.

So it has crappy speakers. Buy some better ones, you are after all spending $1400 on a monitor. Throw in an extra $50 for good bookshelf speakers. seriously who really expects a monitor to have great sound. Most review sites don't even test it or consider unless they are saying, "it has speakers". Would it be nice? sure, is it necessary or a deal breaker? Absolutely not.
It has locked gamma. Both Nvidia and AMD have adjustable gamma. Is this really even an issue? Plus no one has even mentioned the panels having bad gamma, you are just assuming it does because a product that came out 8 months ago had issues.

But, hey you know what you cant fix out of the box? 95hz when 3/4 others paid the same amount and hit 100hz. You know what else you cant fix? coil whine.

But even with all this information coming out and you still think the Acer is better? Great, stick with your Acer. It doesn't effect anyone at all except for you. You just make it effect everyone else when you climb on an Asus post thinking that your monitor is the same or better. When objectively it isnt.

Looks sleek. That bezel definitely looks better than the tacky predator logo... Anyways time to sit back and enjoy the show some more.
