i Just received mine today, but i don't have the correct cable. The DP to DP provided doesn't fit on my old Powercolor HD7970 (925MHz), so i'm using a HDMI 1.4 cable => 3840x2160@30Hz. I just ordered a mini DP to DP cable.

I intend to use that monitor a secondary display. I'll get a new gaming monitor later to replace my old Asus MK241H (I love the 1920x1200 resolution and hate 1080p!!!)

So far, it looks pretty awesome! i had to lower a bunch of settings to make my old Asus looks not that bad, lol

Package was Blank and contained the monitor package. Ok, note that it comes with:
- korean documentation
- power cable is korean too (looks like standard EU cable though), US get your own!
- cable DP to DP
- small remote control
- 3.5mm sound cable

At that price ($439), this is a real bargain!

Yeah, maybe it's just the led backlite or newer backlite but compared to my old LP 3065, white appears a lot whiter.

Wow, suddenly the price shot up to $599 on ebay! Says in stock, so I don't know what's going on. Kicking myself for not ordering this earlier.

You weren't kidding, I thought that would go on forever. It seemed like a two month-long sale apparently.

now for $599 eh not really, at $600 you can find brand name 4k monitors for that price...

ok, maybe there's no $600 32 inch 4k IPS type, but, $439 was such a good deal though.

Seller agreed to a return but would not do an exchange since he said most of these monitors will have this banding. Doing coding work an darker screens (I use this option to reduce eye strain) was really annoying. Also, you could forget doing any sort of color work with pictures due to the uniformity issues. The banding was present with all colors but showed up best on camera with the darker brown/grey. Text sharpness was fantastic. I think I will wait for the BenQ version to go on sale.

I received an adapter in mine.

I am running HDMI 2.0 Is that preferred over DP?

What if any settings can you share as far as PQ adjustments.
