Im seriously considering this monitor now.

How bad is the input lag, mainly for fps? Reviews ive seen say it isnt that bad, some other people have mentioned the lag is pretty bad. Ive never used a gsync display so im guessing i wont notice it. Coming from a 3 year old 27" 1440p acheiva shimmian would it be the same lag (if so i don't notice any wink.gif

Im quite happy with mine that I got last week. At first, I noticed input lag in "The Division" on my gtx 980s (non-sli). Went to Nvidia control panel and adjusted to 4K at 60hz and its still appeared a bit laggy. I then went into Geforce Experience (I know rolleyes.gif) based off a a recommendation I saw on reddit and had it calculate the settings. My lag has gone away to the best of my knowledge. I have since adjusted settings in the Division and Arma 3 and have not had any problems. Game looks awesome in Besiege and GTA. I get around 30-40fps (Division - moderate settings) and more so with Arma in low populated servers. GTA has me around 50-60fps with one gtx 980 depending on the scene.

Ah ok V1ct1m1z3r. thanks for the write up! Eakk your running sli 980 and having some issues with frame rates lol, my overclocked 390 will have bigger issues haha! its more futureproofing by getting this screen - i will have to down the graphics and potentially play in 1440p for the majority but that doesn't bother me. I wont be sitting with this card for much longer, awaiting the release of pascal/polaris.

Next question, go with this 32" or save a few hundred and go with the 28" 289k.. Gah decisions!

I came from two achievia shimians (the ones with the white rim around the outside of the bezel). Never noticed any lag on those monitors and don't notice any on this monitor either. Had the crossover 324k for about two months now. The colors are almost as good as the shimians. Have a gigabyte 980 and can run everything in 4k including gta 5 on high/ultra but cannot use AA on almost every game. Most games I get between 30-60fps. Lately I've mostly played starcraft 2 and heroes of the storm. I get the weird screen glitch every day once or twice on display port. I've gotten used to it doing it. I wish there was an update to the firmware to fix this. And since a few people have said that they changed settings and nothing has changed or everything gets wonky with it. So I've avoided messing with the colors on it to avoid this. The thing is a steal at $440 though.

I literally just pushed the purchase button half an hour ago so this is good news indeed! Where are you seeing it for $440? i just paid $717aud which converts to $537usd.. maybe i don't actually want to know lol
I wont be playing anything too intensive: gta5, battlefront, LoL, payday2 are the stalemates.

Dream-Seller on ebay had it at that price for a while (Since sometime in January I believe). But its a korean monitor so it may stay current for a while or a newer/different version of it will come out. I know they had the basic glass stand and the adjustable tripod stand option. Which was a huge cost difference to get added to the monitor. And the prices fluctuate so much on them. When I bought mine the 40" 4k monitors were way over $600. Now I see ones that are 425, 460, and 550. Which I probably would have paid the extra or less money to get.

So my monitor arrived from SK to Australia in 3 days, very impressive.

Unpacked the screen and set it up last night.. Much wow! Blown away by the size and quality of the monitor. I have the iron tripod model and it ways a few kgs, very solid. Im glad i went the 32" route over the 28" version.

Tested a couple of games at 4k. LoL had no issues, as expected and gave Forza 6 a test and surprisingly for the most part there are no issues, a little bit of stuttering here and there but nothing i cant handle and im sure with a bit of tweaking i can get rid of completly, i set it to ultra to get 4k res and left all settings to optimized

Very easy to overclock this monitor @ 1440. Mine is setting at 85mhz and it makes a tremendous difference. I'm running a Gigabyte Xtreme 980ti and using nvidia settings to overclock. Just reply to this post if you want me to show you how to do it. It is like day and night difference in this monitor. At 4k there is nothing but 60hz for obvious reasons and so laggy it will give you a terrible head ache.

How noticeable is the dropped frames? Sine I imagine there is some. Have you checked to see how many frames your dropping?

And has anyone seen or tried a firmware update for this monitor to add freesync support? Since I might get a newer amd card this fall and freesync support would be nice.

Garvani does the iron tripod stand have height adjustment or is it just for looks and have basic tilt functions?

I have an gigabyte 980 and was amazed at how good everything ran at 4k. Usually AA is the first setting that gets changed because I don't think its really needed at 4k. It was a noticeable improvement to add when I had a 1080p monitor. But when I went to 1440 the improvements decreased dramatically.

At 1440p there is no discernible lag when overclocked. This is the same panel as the other "32" inch panel that claims overclockable to 85 hz. With my eyes anything over that I can't tell but the initial smoothness bumb is a large one. I wish you could store profiles for image quality/color/brightness. In game mode using the desktop seems washed out but in games it's eye popping color and def.
