would the refresh rate of the crt make any different? usually for crt I think I have refresh rate of 75hz while running 2048 x 1536.

Not so big difference, I think.
Just run it in default and do not bother yourself)
Thanks again)

Hopefully very soon I'll be testing this monitor. Reasonably priced 32" IPS 4k unlike the offerings from Samsung, LG, or TEH 'Bling' release products late Asus.

Unfortunately the crossover does have approximately 20ms input lag compared to HP 3065 and an old scepter 24 in. This is still better than the 50ms+ lag between HP and the 43 in LG 4K BB special. IMG_0467.JPG 2889k .JPG file IMG_0447.JPG 3051k .JPG file IMG_0433.JPG 3318k .JPG file

This input lag persists over both HDMI 2 and DP 1.2

Higher input lag than an HP monitor from 2007 ?

unless I am doing something wrong, it looks like so ;(. the clock consistently shows the hp and sceptre to be 20ms ahead.... someone can maybe confirm this?

during regular usage, I can't say I really feel it.... so maybe that's good enough if you're not a gamer?

I am thinking about maybe getting a Samsung UN40JU6500. This is now available for around $500 with 4 HDMI 2.0. got decent review on rting.com. supposed to have input lag around 26 ms.

HP 3065 monitor is still a damn good monitor. 3 DVI. I just wish it has some DP1.2 other than that it is still one of the best 30 in!

Here, this Korean site also confirmed an input delay of 47,8ms or 2,8 frames, using the SMTT method
http://playwares.com/dpreview/48104115#

that is rather high indeed
