When the 324K came out, was selling for $399 and the 324KS is for $509.

I think the new ones also have freesync though. The Older models do not.

Hi quovadis123.

I'm keen on either the 324K or the 32U75.

The thing putting me off is your comment that the 32U75 uses an AMVA panel.
Are you sure that is the panel type it uses?
All the eBay ads I've seen say that it's an AHVA panel.

There appear to be three things I see as being different between the two:
1. Brightness (with the 324K listed as 350cd/m and the 32U75 listed as 300cd/m)
2. The 32U75 being listed as having ECO backlight dimming.
3. The 32U75 supposedly has AMD freesync support (probably don't care as it'll be for office use)

This makes me think there's a slightly worse backlight and / or diffuser being used on the 32U75 and a better controller board.

It seems everyone is very happy with their 324K's however.

I've seen there's a QNIX offering as well but I own both one of the orginal Yamakasi Catleap 27's and also the QNIX 2710 Evo ii and I can honestly state that the QNIX sucks in that the LED backlighting and diffuser must have been slapped in there and not tested on the way out the door.

The Yamakasi has perfect brightness across the screen whereas the QNIX has essentially a darker right hand side and even more so in the bottom right.

It looks like QNIX is still a bit dodgy on the 3216R in the diffuser department from what I've read.

I returned the Qnix because it had flickering line, and also because scaling on a 32" was not good with windows 7.
The flickering line went away eventually.
I prefer AMVA to AHVA, but that is personal.
I also like IPS. Just wish blacks were deeper.
I would try the 324 and see how it goes.

My horizontal position slowly shifting to the right (over 2 months of ownership). On the left side of my window desktop, there's 1/16" vertical black bar. And on the right side, I am missing the same amount of display content.

There's V- and H-Position adjustment option under the menu but they are greyed out (I cannot select them). I tried changing other settings but none of them would allow me to change H and V position. Anyone have this issue? Any suggestion will be appreciated.

I have never run into that.

How about resetting in the Menu back to default?

As a replacement I bought the Crossover 324KS which has been popping up on ebay recently. Very happy with it so far. It doesn't have the same diffuser spacing problem that the qnix had and also has freesync.

Could I have the link which u bought the 324k with freesync? Thx much!

Are there any owners out there that have tried overclocking the 324KS at 2K 2560x1440 resolutions? If so, how high does it go? Thanks.

I keep mine at 2k 100hz. Can't use 4k because of crap w10 scaling issues but 2k is manageable. I use a gtx 980ti video card and get in the 140fps range in BF4. Only game I play. I was very unhappy with the colors of mine until I downloaded the color profiles for the Dell 32 inch and applied them to this monitor and now it's pretty dang good. Pretty decent gaming monitor but I'm still buying the Pixio 27" freesync 2k when big VEGA come out.

No tests other than latency tests that are free on line. It was running a little behind but not by much. About usual for any 4k panel at 31" out there. These are Dell panels with LG boards. My LG TV remote will turn my monitor off and on.
