Thanks! I had a specific vision in my head, and for the most part it will come out looking like the original plan, but I am already having to change a few things up (specifically hardline bends) due to some spacing restrictions that I couldn't really anticipate until actually lining up the installed components and water blocks. Good luck with your build!

Nice! I would definetly go with LED light strips if you want to make your block glow. I tried using the 2 pre-drilled 3mm LED holes in the block, but the light was too focused and washed everything out (take a look here to see a detailed comparison). The LED strip is much more uniform, and if you go with RGB, you can easily tone down the brightness levels.

Update to anyone in the EU with riser problems.

I feel a little let down by Thermaltake in the EU at the moment as there is no feedback after sending my defective riser back to Germany.
After emailing twice now and no reply what so ever. I know that they are a busy company but other RMA procedures at least send some reply in at least 48 hours.

I am starting to wonder if they have lost my riser now.

Does anyone know where to go from here I am on the 14 days they stated and I am now very cross mad.gif

I emailed Mike with all the required info regaring my setup, P5 purchase place etc. Got a respond from him that he will pass it to Tt Germany. I didn't get any email or notification from them, however after few days I got my replacement pci e riser in my mailbox.
I haven't tried it yet as waiting for new gpu at the moment, cables look identical tho.

Guess I will have to email him tomorrow to see if they can push them. Thanks for the info going to keep chasing till it is sorted then.

Wish my 1080 was here. I am stationed in Japan so shipping takes longer, plus the EK block for my card is not available yet. mad.gif

Hey all!!!

OK so first I want to thank everyone for sharing all of your awesome builds and on that process giving me some great ideas for my own P5 build...

Cpl of questions, as stated numerous times about the issue of the fans blowing through the back of the case, so I def do not want to turn the fans around as the would be hideous... I noticed one build where the user made a push/pull setup...I am confused as though how that would help here? Wouldn't the fans still be turned around?? And wouldn't they still be blowing through the back?? I really need some ideas here for this..it's literally the only hang up I have!!! I mean I could have them pulling from back pushing through Rad but then the Rad looks plain Jane frown.gif and If I threw some fans on front then it's like the air would just be pushing against each other??

Help z!!

This is the photo I was referencing here...just wanted to know the purpose of the fans on the back...does this solve the pushing through the back problem

Well Nvm...can't seem to include pic it's on page 14, it's the white case build..blue fans front and back of rad
