That's what I am thinking since I will have the card for at least a week or two before the block arrives. Thanks!

What's everyone's thoughts on testing the card on air in my other computer before installing the block, just to make sure everything is normal. Is this normal practice for everyone?

That is exactly what I did. Considered just throwing on the block, but I didn't want to go through the process of doing that, and then the discover the GPU had some kind of issue. Did some preliminary Overclocking in my old system (results and pics here), and once satisfied, installed the EK block. Better to take the time and make sure.

In case you were starting to feel really impressed with your own P5 build, here's a little something to keep you humble smile.gif

Edit: hopefully it goes without saying, but obviously that's not my own build rolleyes.gif

The last of my builds that I'd be even moderately impressed with, much less really impressed with, is my P5, but there's no real reason to be impressed with that one either.

It's just 2 P5's, side by side with a couple bits of tubing between them . . .

Doesn't even have a single plexi front panel to cover both chassis giving a unifying look, just the 2 original ones with the top inner mounting rods removed

No particular engineering skills involved, or significant challenges to overcome, . . .

None of the usual details done to make it a pro looking build, like having the res mounted over the rad cutouts without a trim panel, no excising the cable management tabs that stick up, having the rad over the mobo's CPU cutout area with no trim panel . . and the list goes on . .

Just big, bright, and blingy without much real work to get it that way.

If I was going to get impressed with one of my builds, it'd be my Stretch Limo build . .

Your Stretch Limo build is absolutely one of the most impressive custom builds I've ever seen, if not the most. Agreed, it's easy to find details where it falls short of a professional build, with few truly custom modifications, but in terms of sheer "Wow Factor" it's definitely up there in terms of P5 builds.

Hopefully your finished P5 build can give it a run for its money wink.gif

I am slowly getting this case better on a budget redface.gif

But I keep running into frustrations like this replacement riser cable.

As you can see it broke in the packaging before I even got it, but I didn't see that till today. I wondered why it only lasted one boot mad.gif

Germany support don't seem to monitor their email, so I haven't had a reply, which is very aggravating. Even Mike hasn't replied as I cc'd him in.

Where do I go from here do I say sod it and just buy a replacement or stand my ground give them one last change. Man this spoils the experience with this case.

Hey Guys,

I'm planning on buying a Core P5, But i have 1 question about the space for the cable management

Is it possible to fit an aquaero 6 (without the bay ofc) in it with his connectors?
Ik would like to make a sleek design so the aquaero can't be in sight.

Has anyone tried it? does it fit?

Thanks in advance!
