I've never had acrylic panels with wrapping before so I have nothing to compare it to. But the panel that I have now doesn't look fiberous in the "fuzzy" kind of way, but it's definitely made of fibers. I never noticed until I went back and took a look at it with a light. More of a fiber-paper so to speak. And the fibers look like glass to me, they're rigid, shine in light, very small, translucent, and resemble glass. They shed off of that covering like snow too, I swear. I'm even finding some of them inside the accessory boxes, which makes me wonder if it was spread largely during boxing assembly. Idk, but I'm not impressed.

I'd really like to know if I managed to get some different wrapping than anyone else or if it is indeed fiberglass based. I took some pictures of the fibers but the camera doesn't show them. When I pull the acrylic board outside this weekend I'll take a few pictures and perhaps you guys can tell me if it's the same as yours. I'll try to show the fibers in the shot too

Yes I think a picture would be worth a thousand posts if you can manage it.

I completely agree. I won't be able to until Friday or Saturday though. More likely Saturday, as Friday is Canada Day. In the mean time I've literally washed the entire metal case down and even managed to get the front panel connector wet so had to give it the alcohol & hairdryer treatment. I'm pretty sure the case is mostly clear of the slivers/fibers and whatever is left I'll just have to live with. Really want to get started on this build but it's turning out to be a disappointing start. The lady friend wasn't exactly impressed with all the glass fibers throughout our living room either, thankfully I think I've got basically all of it. You don't exactly expect this when you purchase a PC case.

Anyone have any clue how i would go about hooking 2 together ?

Sure with they would make a monster P9 lol

I would absolutely start with a 4 foot long by 2" wide piece of 3/16" or 1/4" thick aluminum flat bar cut to the length of the 2 cases together, should be about 45".

Drill the flat bar so that it fits the feet's screw pattern and use the feet to sandwich it between each foot and the case.

The case is well reinforced at the foot attaching points.

Once you have that in place, I'd use a piece of similar flat bar, but narrower and either 1/8' or 3/16" thick, (about 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" wide) on the inside of each of the two case sides that you need to join together.

Once you have your aluminum flats cut to fit flat on the insides of the case sidewalls

Clamp everything in place with the cases aligned together, and the aluminum plate joining the bottoms, and drill thru the aluminum and case sides so that they can be bolted.

Once bolted up, you'll have a double wide P5 with better rigidity than either one alone.

Has anyone weighed their completed build with a fully saturated loop? Wondering if I'd be able to mount this build on a 3-Way Monitor Stand.

With the Ek pump which you linked to me, what orientation would that mount? Exactly the same way as pictured, and then have a feed from the top inlet into a res?

You can mount it however you want. Just get the reservoir above the pump.
Here's how I set mine up.

it will fit without metal mounting rods for acrylic front.

Got everything hooked up finally. Updated BIOS and installed Windows. Really loving the Samsung 950 Pro m.2, crazy fast. Power supply is an EVGA SuperNova G2 1000W that is right around the 200mm mark (think like 202mm or something) and made it really tight to fit all those PSU cables through that cutout, but it worked out well. Also the metal bracket that sits over it was a tight fit, quite a bit of pressure screwing it down. It certainly isn't going anywhere, if anything I'd be concerned about it warping the PSU casing.

Disgusting Intel stock cooler from an i5-2500K is on it though. Idles like 34c, wonder what that'll be like under load. Temporary until I get custom liquid parts in. Also just threw in a R9 270 until I get my new card in.

Will be putting on the acrylic panel this weekend after I clean it up outside and see *** is going on with it. After all the trouble this caused me at first, happy to say I'm enjoying it now. Pretty nifty case. I took out the entire bracket that holds the 3 internal drives, allowed me to fully use the cutouts and gives me full access to the motherboard backplate. I only use a single storage drive anyways, my external USB drive covers me for a backup too while I'm building my NAS box.

Will have to do drivers and whatnot tomorrow, 3:30am here and work in the morning.

Is it really noticable for everyday use though, like gaming, browsing. I have an old 500GB 840 and I actually ordered the 500GB 950 last week, but I cancelled before It could ship.
Read some people saying they didnt notice any difference.

I dunno, I still think Im going to get one eventually though.
