Is paint on the case stripped to steel and/or polished? it looks shiny and you can see some reflection in few places.
I love the look of raw aluminium/steel in pcs smile.gif

I was thinking of just stripping it , but in the end I just used some chrome effect vinyl wrap

I may redo it , as it is not quite as smooth as I would like . but this was my first run on this build .

I finally was able to take some pictures of my computer. Again, this was my first ever computer build, so doing it as a watercooling loop was a little challenging. I'm not all that happy with some of the bends, but I did the best for now.

Parts:
CPU: i7-6700k
Motherboard: Gigabyte z170X-Designare
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 Ti XTREME Gaming
RAM: GeIL SUPER LUCE 16GB (2 x 8GB)
Boot Drive: OCZ RD400 128GB
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA P2 850W
Watercooling is all Thermaltake.

I love the combination of the ring leds on both sets of fans. I was only able to have 3 thermaltake premium riing fans since the premium seem to only be available in 3-pack and I'm not paying that much to use one more fan. I'll wait till they begin being sold as single fans. wink.gif

I'm not having any problems with the original pci cable that came with the case as of right now. I know earlier in the thread thermalmike said that it had to do with the motherboard and gpu combination. Maybe having the same brand helps? Not sure but I know a lot of you had problems but I haven't so far. Might be a clue to the mystery of the not working cables. tongue.gif

Also, the sata power and sata cable that are not plugged into anything are because I took these right before I installed the SSD drive there.

Hey guys,
Your awesome builds tempting me to sell my old good Cosmos S and rebuild everything on this chassis.
I have some questions to you, since you already have been using your builds for a while.

1. Its an open frame. How are you dealing with the dust? In my Cosmos S I have positive pressure inside, and case has dust filters on every air intake, but still have thin dust inside that passes filters. I feel that dust may become more of a problem with Core P5.

2. CPU and GPU VRM cooling. I have gpu only block (not fullcover wb) and GPU VRM on my MSI 1070 Armor is very hot under load. I havent seen pics here with GPU only block installed yet, and CPU VRM needs cooling too. Where to install some fans inside the build, which would have a clean look? Any ideas? I plan to mount GPU vertically, hope that pci-e riser would work fine with my setup.

3. How you deal with hard disk noise and vibration, pump vibration? I'm going to install 2 regular hdds inside the tray, and regular DDC (mcp350) mounted with tube pump-res. Pump vibration made me mad when I mounted pump with XSPC dual 5,25 DDC-bayres into my Cosmos S.
