Thermaltake Core P5 Owners' Club - Page 173

My p5, still a work in progress, need to sleeve more wiring. Mostly stock frame, just cut in to recess the water pump motor and cut down the gpu bracket to keep a lower side profile and mounted thr ssd to the front.

To those who are using 2 GPU's and/or heavy water blocks -- what have you done to fix/help the cage sag?

I am planing to buy this case.
Can someone help me choosing a rounded reservoir with a pump that connects directly underneath? (I am looking at aquatuning website as they are the ones shipping to my country.
All pumps I see seem to need a tube to connect to the reservoir.

ALSO: To those having trouble with the PCI-E Riser cables:

I can verify the 3M cables WORKED for me!! I am reiterating the fact that it seems like the 3M pci-e risers are the ONLY ones that work reliably with more than 1 GPU.

Ya, the Primochill CTR Phase II do. You can look a couple posts back at the pic of my build with it to see how it looks.

Update: Just noticed you specified a website preference, looks like this Alphacool Eisbecher would work as well with a D5 pump

I'm running one ASUS Strix 1080 and had cage sag. I went to the hardware store, bought a piece of that hard rubber solid cylinder, cut it to length and used it between the cage and my PSU to provide support.

Ditto.

Struggled with the Thermaltake cables. Bought an Extra one waited forever for it to arrive, just to plug both in and have issues.
When using just one cable everything seemed fine, when using both I experienced weird and wonderfull issues. Even disabling the PCIE slot from Mobo DIP switch did not resolve.

Got 2 x 3M PCIE Cables, arrived a week later and all problems disappeared.
