yeah, those Tt cables are a SHAM. If you want good ones you gotta buy the Lian Li ones. Expensive but good.

@Bitemarks and bloodstains
That's sick!
What rad, fan setup and what are your temps like?
I am considering a similar loop, SLI 1070s, 6700k off a single 480 rad.

Heard these are the way to go, just get some cloth tape to cover the colour

This is more of a home theatre build and editing PC... I probably will get a graphics card eventually but not for at least 6 months to a year.
CPU (i7 6700K) does have decent inbuilt graphics, so I can play games on lower settings too.
When I do get a GPU, I'll either get a slim blu-ray drive and mod the case on the side to fit it in,
or just run the optical drive separately, outside of the case when needed.

Here are some more images of the build coming along

I vinyl wrapped below the radiator to hide the rear of the case.
Placed the temperature display below the radiator
and added a mount for the thermaltake riing fan controller

I'd love to but the walls are solid concrete, I have a few ideas for the cables.
post #1748 of 3192
Is there a thread or video that explains how to install the Graphics Card Vertically? I'm unsure how to use the provided PCI Riser Cable. I hear the cable is very fragile and you can't bend it. Also what are the small metal bars that are at the bottom of the Card support bracket? Are you suppose to sandwich the riser cable with that metal bar?

anybody make a psu cover for this yet
post #1750 of 3192
After having the rig up and running for a few weeks, I decided I didn't like the lack of lighting at the power supply. I ordered a Thermaltake Riing 140mm white fan and replaced the stock PSU fan with it. I ran the cable for the fan through the hole for the 24 pin ATX cable and it's connected to a standard molex power connection. I lost the energy efficiency of the stock fan controller on the Corsair HX750 where it would automatically turn off the fan unless it was under a load greater than, I believe, 50%. Unless I was gaming, the PSU fan would not spin up. A small increase in db's for a little aesthetics. I'm ok with that.
