my impressions of this case are it is a jawdropping piece of hardware , build wise its instructions are a bit weak especially in light of how many screws, bolts, brackets and fixings are in this oversized adults airfix kit , the small diagrams are potentially going to be a bit chaotic to less experienced builders

in mine i have an alphacool 240 rad and 250 res , ek supreme waterblock , phobya 400 pump and long term plans are acrylic tubing ( never tried it yet let alone bending so could be fun ) either a 420 or 480 rad ... not that it actually needs that cooling power up here in yorkshire but simply because i can , photos will follow but its already running after purchase at 10 am yesterday with it already complete on flexible tubing

Thanks for the feedback!

The case will be modded very extensively. That's all I can say for now. biggrin.gif

I decided to do a marble vinyl wrap on mine. I made a TON of mistakes wrapping it since it was my first time, but I'm hoping the mounted components cover up most of the mistakes. tongue.gif

Wish I could man, but the honest truth is that I have no experience with vinyl wrap, and really can't say exactly what I did wrong.

Thanks Mr. Big. I'm almost broke at the moment tbh. lol!

I ordered too many stuff like a 256GB 950 Pro and a 960GB SSD plus the Core P5, some fans and the whole fitting/sleeved cables and all those mentioned in my previous post, They cost me wayyyy more than I had initially expected to.

I could have gotten another 980Ti probably instead of all the above! And before everyone starts shooting, yes I knew this before hand but I had a case mod/upgrade in my plans for a long time now so I went that route.

And as much as I LOVE my HAF-X its time to move on. It has served me so well all these years. Best case ever owned.

But I will get paid again in about a week and plus I will be selling my Blue Edition HAF-X plus a few other things I have laying around make up for the expenses.

You guys make vinyl wraps looks really tempting. Might even be better for custom designs than painting.

Both the above look nice. Especially the marble wrap!

Well done! thumb.gif

that looks really interesting , the shape of the cores baseplate does lend itself to a big slab ... just like marble so looking good , if vinyl wrappings tricky there are other options in the marble effect camp , i used to work with a french polisher and a decent polisher can actually paint a marble effect onto a smooth surface in various colours , i had a fireplace in my old house he had done for me which was slate slabs and he did a green marble paint on it ... it looked awesome and quite matrixy but was 20 years and i moved house leaving it as it did weigh a tonne so i have no photos of it but i figured i'd mention it as a possibility for someone
