Soooooo, . . . I poked my P5 gently with a sharp stick today, hoping it would tell me what kind of res setup it wanted . . . .

Apparently, we did not share a communicative moment, . . . . so it got what I made for it, whether it likes it or not . . . .

And since I like it, I guess that's what counts most.

I had to ditch the dual fans on the push side idea, as it cut into the room to put the pump / res setup to where I didn't have space for a long GPU.

As it's mocked up now, I have a fraction over 11" for a GPU, . . . and could squeak out maybe another half inch if necessary.

Anyone know how long the 1080 is supposed to be?

Anyway, here's some pics of the progress, oriented vertically, so it looks like it will on its feet or the wall.

Finally got the case and very impressed.

But... The PCI bracket for video cards just seems over sized. I understand that in a normal case have the 8 slots is useful. But I would love to see an optional half size extension. Maybe a 4 or 5 slot extension that matches better to the height of the other components in the system.

Just my .02 as a user only planning a single video card system. Thermaltake... If you're listening I would gladly pay for something like this.

Is there a mini itx version of this or some similar case?

Would love to do a wall mounted media pc beside my wall mounted tv.

@thermalmike, both great ideas above. I know there is no ITX versions as of now but that would be cool and I really like the smaller GPU bracket for users who want to get rid of all of that extra unused metal. thumb.gif
