Thermaltake Core P5 Owners' Club - Page 100

i think what is bugging me is how far out the window is from the back. I am really trying to find a way to like this case. Big change in new build ideas from going from a small node 804 to this.

i am sure by the time i push a buy button it will be on this case

Hello all,

Looking for some input, got everything laid out on my P5 tonight looking at my over all game plane etc... I am thinking about the following two paths with my tubing.

My Res will be full full so I think it would work in either configuration I personally like the first one best. The lines are a rough path as I will be using PETG so some bends curves will vary but this is in general the path it will go.

Question: The way I have the pump housing sitting the flow would be going in the following direction > Pump > Res > GPU > CPU > Rad > Pump

It doesn't appear the CPU block cares about direction would I have any other concerns with this?

Route 1:

Router 2:

OG Photo if anyone wants to edit for suggestions:

I know I can flip the pump and make the Res drop from the bottom to the pump then to the rad... But I really like the look of the pump housing sitting this way if its possible.

PM here, on forum.

I would use bottom hole of the res as an outlet to the pump, otherwise what's the point of having large res is half of it's water never gonna circulate in the loop?
Also, it might be easier and cleaner route if you go gpu first, then cpu, ras, res and pump, clockwise basically.

On the EVGA forums, there are a few users that have gotten responses back via email from EK Customer Support stating that although there won't be a block for the non-reference "FTW" edition, they do plan on making one for the "Classified" version.

I like EK blocks and was planning on using one in my build as well once completed, but I also had 2x EVGA GTX 580 Hydro Coppers that used Swiftech blocks. They looked great and performed even better. EVGA will release a Hydro Copper for this series as well, and has stated that they will be selling waterblocks for the FTW and Classified cards. Its safe to say there will be blocks for non-ref EVGA cards, but at this time no one knows who will actually be manufacturing them...

gtx_hydro_copper

Hopefully it gets cleared up soon as it is the last component I have still yet to purchase in order to finish my new build.
