Also don't ask whether Asrock or MSI is better, you need to compare certain products.

Sorry, forgot to add the model: Asrock Z97 Fatality Killer.

Just create separate thread and ask for suggestions in your budget, there are people with much more knowledge than me that will help you properly. I just warned you before buying garbage based on my experience, for more in depth info ask people with more knowledge about mobos.

ASUS fixed my issues with a new BIOS and my Z97-WS + 5775C now works at 4K/60Hz.

Now to overclock!

Hi everyone.
After half a year rocking 4.1GHz, I started to got several BSOD, so I put it back to 4GHz. Now that I got more time, I'm starting to test what was causing it. So far, I'm not getting anything at 4GHz 1.3v with AIDA64 full suite, custom x264 and HCI memtest. Yesterday I tried OCCT and BOOM, errors at just 4-5s after I start the benchmark. Tried x264 again and passed 3 loops, AIDA64 and half an hour without any issues. Checked OCCT again and same behaviour, 4-5s and errors in the cores #1 or #2.

Does any of you have issues with OCCT?

I also had errors on 5675C in OCCT, while everywhere else it wasn't showing any signs of instability.

What voltages where you running at?

I believe in IBT & real gaming tests. If IBT is good for 0,5-1 hours and GTA V or similar for a couple of hours than you're good.

4GHz requires 1.3v, but I'm running at 1.31-1.32v. Testing in Gw2 and it's stable for a couple of hours.

1.3v is quite high, you're getting close to the voltage wall. Have you increased your CPU Input voltage?

My default settings:
Freq 3.5 Ghz
CPU voltage 1.18V
CPU Input 1.8V

My OC
4.1 Ghz
CPU voltage 1.275V
CPU Input 1.88V

My 5775c's still running fine at 4.2ghz @ 1.354 volts AFAIK (I use my 4930k way more).
